These terms describe the rules for using Focused Lens. By creating an account or using the desktop app, dashboard, or API-backed service, you agree to these terms.
Core terms
Using Focused Lens
You may use Focused Lens to track and understand your own digital activity. You are responsible for deciding whether the app is appropriate for your device, workplace, and local rules.
Account responsibilities
Keep your account credentials secure, use accurate information, and tell us if you believe your account or device token has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with infrastructure, upload malicious content, or use Focused Lens to monitor another person without proper authority and notice.
Billing
Paid features, when available, are billed through Stripe. Stripe handles payment details and billing workflows; Focused Lens stores subscription status needed to grant access.
Availability
We aim to keep the service reliable, but Focused Lens is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Features may change as the product evolves.
Limitations
Focused Lens is provided as-is to the fullest extent allowed by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Data and privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what Focused Lens collects and how account deletion works. It is part of these terms.
You are responsible for complying with any workplace, device-management, or local legal requirements that apply before installing monitoring software on a device.
Intellectual property
Focused Lens, its product design, branding, and service content remain owned by their respective owners. The code repository is public at github.com/spaggle/focused-lens, but no top-level open-source license is currently published.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Focused Lens at any time and can delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if an account is used to abuse the service, violate these terms, or create security or operational risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the Focused Lens operator is established, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law gives you additional rights in your location.
